Terms of Service

Last Updated: April 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using the Fintech Training Center platform. By creating an account, activating a subscription, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (individually or on behalf of the organization you represent, “you” or “Subscriber”) and Fintech Training Center, LLC (“FTC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the FTC platform, website, and all related content and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By clicking “I Agree,” completing the registration process, activating a subscription, or accessing any part of the Platform, you represent that: (a) you have read and understand these Terms; (b) you have the authority to bind yourself or your organization; and (c) you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. If you lack that authority, you must not accept these Terms or use the Platform.

2. Description of Services

Fintech Training Center provides a professional online training and knowledge platform designed for compliance, risk management, and regulatory professionals in the fintech and financial services industries. The Platform includes, without limitation:

  • Online Compliance Training: On-demand video courses, interactive modules, assessments, and certification pathways covering fintech regulation, AML/BSA, payments compliance, data privacy, and related topics.
  • Regulatory Documents & Reference Library: Curated regulatory guidance documents, policy templates, regulatory summaries, and reference materials maintained and updated by FTC editorial staff.
  • Expert Access: Selected subscription tiers include access to live Q&A sessions, office hours, or written responses from FTC-affiliated subject matter experts. Expert access features and availability vary by subscription plan.
  • Fintech Index: A searchable database of fintech companies, regulatory categories, and industry classifications.
  • Compliance Outlook: Periodic editorial commentary, regulatory alerts, and market intelligence reports.

FTC reserves the right to modify, expand, or discontinue any feature or component of the Platform at any time. We will endeavor to provide reasonable advance notice of material changes that affect active subscriptions.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access the Platform you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information, including a valid business email address. You agree to maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password).
  • All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
  • Notifying FTC immediately at hello@fintechtrainingcenter.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

FTC will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials. You may not create an account using false identity information or on behalf of someone other than yourself without authorization.

Enterprise Accounts: Organizations that purchase multi-seat or team subscriptions must designate an account administrator responsible for managing authorized user access. The administrator is responsible for ensuring all users under the organizational account comply with these Terms.

4. Subscription & Billing

Subscription Plans. Access to the Platform requires a paid subscription. FTC currently offers annual subscription plans for individuals and organizations. Current pricing, plan features, and any available packages are described on our Pricing page, which may be updated from time to time.

Payment Processing. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you authorize FTC (through Stripe) to charge your designated payment method for all fees due. FTC does not store your full payment card details on our own servers.

Auto-Renewal. Annual subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription term unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will receive a renewal reminder by email at least 14 days prior to the renewal charge. By maintaining an active subscription you authorize FTC to charge your payment method on file for the then-current annual subscription fee at each renewal.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting hello@fintechtrainingcenter.com. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current subscription term. You will retain access to the Platform through the end of the paid period.

Refund Policy. FTC offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for new subscribers. If you are not satisfied with the Platform for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription purchase by contacting us at hello@fintechtrainingcenter.com. After the 30-day period, all subscription fees are non-refundable, including for cancellations mid-term. No refunds are issued for renewal terms.

Price Changes. FTC reserves the right to change subscription pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice of any price increase to existing subscribers before the change takes effect at your next renewal. Continued use of the Platform following a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Taxes. Subscription fees are exclusive of all applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes imposed by applicable law on transactions with FTC.

5. Intellectual Property

FTC Ownership. The Platform and all content available through it — including but not limited to course videos, written materials, assessments, regulatory summaries, templates, graphics, software, the FTC Index database, and the Compliance Outlook — are owned by or licensed to Fintech Training Center, LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

License Grant. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, FTC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Platform and its content solely for your own internal professional development and business compliance purposes during your active subscription term (“License”). This License is personal to you and, in the case of an organizational subscription, extends only to authorized users designated by your organization.

Restrictions. You may not, without FTC’s express prior written consent:

  • Reproduce, copy, download, store, distribute, publish, or publicly display any Platform content.
  • Sell, resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise transfer your License or access to any third party.
  • Create derivative works based on Platform content.
  • Use Platform content to develop or train any artificial intelligence model, machine learning system, or competing product or service.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice contained in or on the Platform.

Feedback. If you submit ideas, suggestions, or other feedback regarding the Platform, you grant FTC a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that feedback without any obligation to you.

6. Permitted Use

The Platform is licensed for use by authorized individual users only. Each subscription seat corresponds to a single named individual. Organizational subscriptions allow the number of named users specified in the applicable order or subscription plan.

You agree that:

  • You will not share your login credentials with any other person, including colleagues, contractors, or affiliates not covered under your subscription plan.
  • Each authorized user must create and use their own individual account credentials.
  • Concurrent use of a single-seat subscription from multiple devices or locations simultaneously is not permitted.
  • You will use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations, including export control and data privacy laws.
  • You will use the Platform solely for your organization’s internal professional development and compliance purposes, and not for providing training services to external clients or third parties without FTC’s prior written authorization.

FTC monitors platform usage to detect unauthorized access and credential sharing. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your subscription without refund.

7. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the restrictions described elsewhere in these Terms, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform or any related system or network, or breach any security or authentication measures.
  • Use automated means (including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar technologies) to access, retrieve, or index content from the Platform.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Platform, including by transmitting viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform or any other accounts, systems, or networks.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the Platform to transmit unsolicited commercial communications or spam.
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other user’s enjoyment of the Platform, or which exposes FTC to liability.
  • Circumvent any technical measures FTC uses to enforce these Terms, including digital rights management or access control mechanisms.
  • Frame or mirror any portion of the Platform without FTC’s express written consent.

FTC reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement authorities. FTC may report any activity it believes violates applicable law to appropriate authorities.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FTC expressly disclaims all warranties, including without limitation:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
  • Any warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • Any warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any content, including regulatory information, expert commentary, or compliance guidance.
Not Legal Advice. Content on the Platform, including compliance training materials, regulatory summaries, and expert commentary, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, financial, or professional advice. You should consult qualified legal counsel and compliance professionals before making compliance decisions for your organization.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you in their entirety.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FTC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if FTC has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall FTC’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform exceed the greater of: (a) the total subscription fees paid by you to FTC during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

The limitations in this section apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Termination

By You. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription through your account settings or by contacting FTC at hello@fintechtrainingcenter.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided under the 30-day satisfaction guarantee described in Section 4.

By FTC. FTC may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:

  • Violation of any provision of these Terms.
  • Non-payment of applicable subscription fees.
  • Conduct that FTC determines, in its sole discretion, is harmful to other users, third parties, or FTC’s business or reputation.
  • Requests from law enforcement or other government authorities.
  • Discontinuation of the Platform or any material portion thereof.

Effect of Termination. Upon termination, your right to access and use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 5 (Intellectual Property), 7 (Prohibited Conduct), 8 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Governing Law), and any other provisions that by their nature should survive, will survive the termination of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, or your use of the Platform, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware. You hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, FTC may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12. Changes to Terms

FTC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice by one or more of the following methods: (a) posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date; (b) sending an email notification to the address associated with your account; or (c) displaying a prominent notice within the Platform.

Changes will become effective as of the date indicated in the updated Terms. Your continued access to or use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and cancel your subscription.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. The most current version of the Terms will always be available at fintechtrainingcenter.com/terms.
